Soo...I've Started Sending Weekly Emails...

Hey hey, y'all!

I'm beyond thrilled to welcome new Bloodlings to the J.S. Living community, and happy to continue updating current Bloodlings on everything going on. After all, I strive to be transparent in my communications.

About those emails...

You may have noticed an uptick in emails from me. Normally I don't send more than two emails a month. However, exciting things are happening for me, and I want to include you!

So, here's my promise to you: I vow to send one to two emails a week only when there is cause (like the many events I have coming up). Otherwise, my standard two emails or less policy will stand.

That means, for the rest of April and all of May, you will receive one or two emails a week reminding you of all the cool things I have coming up, especially as I get more details about the events I'm participating in. Then, when June rolls around, we'll go back to the standard emailing policy of no more than two emails a month.

From now on, I'll try to notify y'all ahead of time on when these upticks will occur so that you can prepare to stay tuned (or mute me, if that's your preference).

But, ICYMI, here's an update of all the things I've been sending emails about:

On 13 April, I'll be at Laurel College Center participating in their National Library Month Bookfest. The event is from 12:00 PM -2:00 PM. I'll send an email about this later, but I hope to see you there!

Three days after that, on 16 April, the Blood Ties campaign will launch on Kickstarter. It's set to end on 7 May, which gives you plenty of time to save up!

On 4 May, I'll be attending Dreaming Dirty in Maryland at the Baltimore Hotel. There are only a few tickets left, so if you want to go, I'd snatch them up now. Tickets are $0-$35. Also, if you want me to set aside a book for you, please fill out my DDiM Google Form and join the DDiM Attendees Facebook group.

There's also a possibility that I'll be doing a signing in Augusta, Georgia sometime between 24 and 26 May, but I'll keep y'all posted on that one since it's not set in stone.

Other updates will come about as the Kickstarter launches.

Now, that we're finished with the updates, on to the fun stuff: let's talk about those recs I've been sending you!

Let's talk recs!

If you're anything like me, you're always on the lookout for your next great read, and I have a feeling you'll love what I have in store for you.

If you didn't know, I'm all about crafting immersive worlds and unforgettable characters, and I hope Lizzy, Liz, Dmitri, Angelo, and all my other characters fit that bill for you. After all, The Covenant of Blood and Blood Ties: A Collection of Three Covenant of Blood Shorts are captivating tales packed with magic, mystery, and plenty of twists and turns to keep you hooked from start to finish. So, I hope you'll support me in creating more stories in the Blood Series (still debating if that'll be the official name...).

If that's not enough for you to get excited about, or if you just want a new fantasy book, then I've got great news:

I've gotten together with my author friends, and we decided to support each other. And that is why I've been sending you so many book recs! I want to ensure that all my peeps get a chance at having their dreams supported because nothing makes me happier than seeing other people succeed.

So, if Blood Ties isn't for you (although I REALLY hope it is), then at least check out some of my indie folks using the links below, because you never know where your next favorite series will come from.

Welp, that's all I've got for you.
